VNTR House invites you to a private afternoon of art and connection.
We will begin with a welcome and informal gathering, followed by a curated viewing of selected works by Jessie Min — an exited entrepreneur who has transitioned from building companies to building canvases.
Jessie is a Chinese painter living in Cascais. Her Chinese name, Min Jie, sounds like the words for “fast” or “quick.” This is apt as Jessie's artistic output has celebrated pace, completing scores of different works in just over a year.
Her style has undergone a series of rapid transitions, evolving from early experimentation with watercolours and acrylic pouring, as well as landscapes, to larger and more abstract compositions.
Her art — and its innate desire to move forward — carries a simple message: to stay open to the world's wonder, perhaps most perfectly expressed in its colour.
The afternoon will continue with time to move through the works at your own rhythm and connect in small conversations.
