The first NextGen Builders session brings Fellows together to explore problems worth solving, share ideas, form teams and meet the mentor community. Parents are welcome for the opening 30 minutes.
Fellows will look for real problems in their schools, communities and everyday lives, then pitch one they would like to explore. Through an idea marketplace, they’ll find others who share their interest and form teams with different strengths.
Each team will leave with a problem statement, a first hypothesis and one question to investigate before the next session. No finished startup idea is needed. The starting principle is simple: fall in love with the problem, not your first solution.
Parents can join the welcome from 18:00 to 18:30; the rest of the session is for Fellows.
