  • VNTR Capital Sponsorship Sales Manager

    Cascais/Lisbon, Portugal

    VNTR Capital is an investment syndicate, and global investors community focused on investments into fast-growing startups — www.vntr.vc.

     

    Responsibilities include securing sponsorships & strategic partnerships, ensuring all deliverable schedules and commitments are met, and post-event deliverable reports for each sponsor or strategic partner.

     

    The Sponsorship Sales Manager will plan and execute a sales strategy for sponsorship revenue for different online and offline events of VNTR Capital globally. Work closely with the Managing Partners and Partners to help identify new sponsor opportunities and grow revenue for investor-focused events. Must be energetic, well-spoken, and eager to close revenue opportunities. Ideal Candidate will have prior experience in aggregating sponsorships and delivering brand activation activities.
     

    Responsibilities

    • Develop and implement the sponsorship sales strategy.

    • Lead all acquisition efforts, including target list development, outbound sales, seamless onboarding of new sponsors to each individual event, and post-event follow-up.

    • Leverage all communication channels to build relationships with prospective sponsors utilizing calls, in-person/virtual meetings, email, social media, and networking.

    • Communicate sponsorship value proposition.

    • Support and work closely with the Managing Partners and Partners to ensure that commercial partnerships are aligned with VNTR Capital objectives.

    • Maintain a good knowledge of competitor events and relevant sponsorships.

    • The ability to demonstrate a clear understanding of the Partnerships sales process – including but not limited to prospecting, proposal development and creation, negotiation, and contracting.

    • History of developing high-value partnerships.

    • Excellent application and knowledge of sponsorships and brand activation.

     

    Qualifications

    • 2+ years in active sales management or a similar role.

    • Ability to activate marketing, content, and social media that highlights the value of sponsorships and generates leads

    • Strong database management skills are necessary

    • Excellent communication skills, high integrity, experience, confidence, and presence to work with all levels of the firm, including external counterparts

    • A trustworthy individual who is able to manage confidentiality and sensitive matters

    • A team player capable of cultivating productive working relationships across the company

    • Strong written and verbal communication skills

    • Positive attitude, no task too big or too small

    • Ability to think independently and provide creative solutions

    • High EQ with an ability to diplomatically navigate complex situations

    • Excellent capability in the use of communication tools

    • Proficient in Google Workplace, Microsoft Office suite, LinkedIn

    • Well-organized, detail-oriented, ability to multi-task with great follow-up skills

    • Excellent English speaking and writing skills are required.
