Complex systems is my specialty. Whether it's a technology, business or personal challenge, I love deconstructing them into sub-systems and isolated components in order to find a solution to a problem or an opportunity for growth.
Besides operating a venture fund, I make venture capital education more accessible to increase diversity in the industry. "Diversity is like charity: if you're really into it, you don't talk about it much".
After selling my business, I started investing as an angel investor and raised a $20M fund in 2011. I then joined a Fintech fund and moved on to a corporate venture arm of an Asian 'unicorn'. I currently run another corporate VC fund.
Before I started investing myself, I helped startups raise ~$30M from state institutions, as well as ~$20M from venture investors.
As an entrepreneur, I built one of the most successful franchise media networks in Eastern Europe.
