We are looking for an experienced Events Manager who would be responsible for the successful execution of all online and offline events. The Manager will supervise team members and work with venues, vendors, and sponsors to produce VNTR events globally

Responsibilities

• Work directly with the Managing Partners, Partners, and Sponsors to effectively define requirements and manage expectations.
• Supervise all aspects of events, including venue/vendor sourcing, selection, and negotiation; event programming and logistics; pre-event, post-event, and on-site activities.
• Responsible for the financial management of events: prepare and manage budgets; manage billing and invoicing; and track accounts payable/receivable.
• Lead venue outreach and manage contracts/agreements, relationships, etc.
• Oversee the selection and training of event hosts, as well as supervise their activities.
• Manage relationships with sponsors, partners, and event hosts.
• Proactively look for new/smarter ways to improve department processes and procedures.
• Analyze the performance of each event and create reports.

Qualifications

• Requires a minimum of 3 years of successful event/project management experience.
• Demonstrated customer service experience and effective customer service skills.
• Certifications in Event Management and Project Management is a plus.
• Passionate individual who is willing to immerse him/herself in their work.
• Self-motivated with strong organizational, management, and time management skills with the ability to effectively set priorities.
• Strong interpersonal skills which enable him/her to work effectively in a team and communicate efficiently under pressure.
• Track record of building and maintaining client and vendor relationships.
• Distributed team management.
• Proven experience as an event/project manager.
• Excellent English speaking and writing skills are required.
